We could all do with recognising our own self worth sometimes, so Day 1 of our advent calendar brings you an exercise that will help you remember why you are so AMAZING!
Grab a notebook and write down 5 things you are good at. As difficult as this might first sound, everyone is good at something so take the time to have a good old think about what it is you are good at.
It could be that you’re a good listener, or that you’re a good mum, or it could even be that you’re good at eating biscuits. I don’t care what it is, I just want you to look at things from a positive point of view and jot your qualities down for the world to see.
If you fancy it you could also ask a close family member or friend to write down 5 things they think you’re good at and then compare the answers at the end.
Keep the list somewhere handy so that you can refer to it whenever you’re having a bad day, this will help motivate and inspire you and will certainly put that smile back on your face!
