Imagine if you could get the flavours of a Terry’s Chocolate Orange into a flapjack…
Well you can thank me now!
This orange infused flapjack base goes perfect with a tiny (or not so tiny) drizzle of rich dark chocolate across the top and the best news is there’s no bad stuff in there!
What’s In It?
- 500g Oats
- 200g Unsalted butter
- 200ml Honey
- 100g Dark Chocolate
- Zest and Juice of 1 Orange
How Do I Make It?
Place the butter, honey, orange juice and zest in a saucepan and heat until melted and the orange has infused into the mixture. Remove from the heat and stir in the oats.
Spoon into the squares of an individual brownie tin and bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes, or until golden. Allow to cool in the tin.
Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan containing a small amount of water, making sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
When the flapjacks have cooled, remove from the tin and drizzle the melted chocolate over the top.
