My Teenage Diary Series – January 26th 1995

Dear Teenage Diary

Jo dumped Terence. Apparently, A told her that he puts it around a bit and he’s only using her. She came up to m and said thanks for the information. Of course I didn’t tell A to tell her those things and I did feel a bit guilty, but I later found out that she was going to dump him anyway.

He’s asked Carl to get me to give the necklace back to him, so I told Carl to tell him that if he wanted it back he’d have to ask for it in person. I’m not going to give it back though because it was a present and it was personalised. Anyway, I don’t think he’s got the nerve to come up to me and ask for it. I’d only bite back with some snidey comment.

I sent off for Alison & Antonio’s mail order catalogue, which should come next week. I can’t wait. Me and Sheila are going to get fit. Weekends we are going bike riding and during the week we’re going to go jogging after school. We’re also going to the gym at the Olympiad some when to do a training session and then go whenever we please. I’m also going to eat healthily i.e. more fruit, less sugary and fatty foods and less fizzy drinks. If I keep it up not only will I be fit and healthy, but I will have a better figure, I may lose weight and my spots may clear up.

I predict that this will last a week and I bet Sheila drops out first. I guess it depends on how well we jog, but if she drops out I’ll go on my own and take my Walkman with me. It’s about time I did things for myself instead of following Sheila.

*All names have been changed from those in my monthly teenage diary to protect the not so innocent.

Remember to come back tomorrow for the next instalment of my 1995 teenage diary.
