Bit of a vulnerable one from me this morning.... Bit of a vulnerable one from me this morning....

I've suffered with mental health difficulties for a good few years now. The anxiety comes in waves. Not like everyday worries, but deep rooted, gut wrenching, consume your whole body and mind anxiety.

I've been in therapy for about a year and a half, which is helping. But it is hard, and messy, and brings up all kinds of stuff that I am trying to process.

This past week in particular the anxiety has been strong. But I've got really, really freakin' good at hiding it. If anyone saw me, they wouldn't know. I can smile, laugh, act like everything's good. I get out of bed every morning, exercise, run a house, a business. I look like I have my shit together.

But inside I am struggling daily. Getting through it. Keeping my head above the water. And hoping I won't feel like this forever.

Mental health and anxiety looks different for everyone. Just because someone shows up and looks ok doesn't mean they are.

On June 13th I will be walking 30 miles for @beelievefoundation a charity who help support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people. Along with about 160 other people, we'll be walking from Westminster Cathedal to Ripley in Surrey... which is a really long way!!

Bee-Lieve helped support me and my family at a difficult time - just having someone there to listen to us, validate our feelings, and gives us some direction made such a difference at the time. So I want to do my bit and give something back.

Which is why I set up my Just Giving page. I'll be honest, I'm not usually one to ask for money for these kind of things, but as I said... this means a lot to me and I want to help support them like they supported me.

If you would like and are able to donate to this incredible charity as well as support me on my 30 mile walk, I will pop the link to my Just Giving page in my bio.

Thank you so much 🙏

Most people have heard plenty of good things about Most people have heard plenty of good things about probiotics and upping your intake of fibre. You might have even tried a supplement or two, swapped to sourdough bread, or started adding sauerkraut to your weekly shop.

These are all positive moves forward in taking control of your gut health. But researchers are now turning to a rather more unexpected source for the next generation of gut support... human breast milk.

Yep, you read that right - HUMAN BREAST MILK

Our latest guest blog post is from the science team at @trykepos who explore exactly how human breast helps support the gut.

If you haven't tried out @immersive.gamebox in Lon If you haven't tried out @immersive.gamebox in London yet you need to!

We tried out the Squid Game box and it was so clever. It's hard to find things that we all like doing these days, and I must admit I was slightly worried it might be a bit babyish for the cool teens but we all had such a laugh.

It's kinda like VR but instead you pop on one of these slightly ridiculous visors and use your movement to do actions on screens in your gamebox.

It featured all of the classic games from series 1 of squid game - deffo helps if you've watched it - and had us in stitches watching each other do it.

So yeah if you find yourself in London looking for something to do, go pay them a visit, they're super close to Waterloo and the South Bank.
