Paleo-ish Porridge

Now, before you all shout at me, “Porridge isn’t Paleo!”, I know OK? But, here’s the thing…I’m not either, which is why I’m allowed to bend the rules.

The Paleo part comes in from the inclusion of Fit Fudge and well, oats are healthy and filing right so it’s all good 🙂

This might just be the yummiest porridge you’ll have ever tried and the best part is that because it’s quite rich, you only need a small portion to keep you going until lunchtime. It’s similar in taste to a delicious and creamy rice pudding, which carries with it a certain nostalgia from childhood puddings gone by.

I challenge you not to like this!

What’s In It?

  • 1 packet of Orange Fit Fudge
  • 50g of Porridge Oats
  • 100ml Almond Milk (add more if required)
  • 1/4 pack of Fit Chocolate (I used Maca Love but Orange flavour would taste equally as nice)

How Do I Make It?

Combine the Fit Fudge with the almond milk until there are no major lumps. Place the porridge oats in a microwaveable bowl and pour over the Fit Fudge mixture, giving it a slight stir to cover the oats. Microwave on high for approximately 1 minute, stirring every now and again. If the mixture starts to get lumpy just add some more almond milk. Top with grated Fit Chocolate – this melts and goes all lovely and gooey as the warmth of the porridge heats it up.
