My Teenage Diary Series – February 28th 1995

Dear Teenage Diary,

I phoned up Noah and had a half hour conversation with him. And I must say there weren’t so many pauses in between conversations so we’re making progress. I told him I was going to the gym because Sheila told me her mum could take us and he said he’d try and get there and if it’s not raining he says he’ll cycle from Lacock to the Olympiad. Anyway, afterwards Sheila told me that she’s going to her aunts so can’t go to the gym after all. Mum said she’ll take me if A’s not got football, but I’m only going to go it I know that he’s definitely going to be there. He said he’s going to phone me Friday at 7pm.

I’m getting up the guts to ask him to the cinema, but I found out today that he works on Saturdays so it would have to be somewhen else. Maybe I’ll wait until there’s something decent on. I don’t really want to invite him to youth club, I mean that isn’t major excitement and I want to make an impression. I haven’t the nerve to ask him out. I guess I’m kind of just waiting to see if he makes the first move. I really hope he does, cos I fancy him like crazy.

*All names have been changed from those in my monthly teenage diary to protect the not so innocent.

Remember to come back tomorrow for the next installment of my 1995 teenage diary.
