Art of Healthy Living Advent Calendar – Day 18

OK folks, so today I want you to sign up to a new challenge. Doesn’t matter how big or how small that challenge might be, it just needs to be something that pushes you just that little bit further out of your comfort zone and closer to achieving great things.

Looking back at what I have personally achieved this year, the one thing I notice is that I have always performed to my absolute greatest when it has involved signing up to something. Committing to a future challenge, whether it be a running event, a work project, a fitness goal or even climbing Kilimanjaro, not only gives you a set time in which to prepare and complete the challenge by, but also paying money for, having something written down in black and white and talking to other people about it, makes you much, MUCH more likely to actually see the challenge through to the end.

Focus on how amazing you’ll feel having accomplished something you may have originally thought you were incapable of doing. At the beginning of the year there is no way I would have imagined I could run a 10k race, or that I would be regularly going out running on my own and…enjoying it. Nor did I think my blog would grow as much as it has and enable me to experience lots of new things and meet lots of new people. And now I need to focus on what exactly it is I’d like to achieve next year, which is why I’m inviting you to do the same.

Door 18 of our advent calendar wants you to rise to the challenge and push yourself to the limits, because do you know what..?

You can do ANYTHING if you put your mind to it!
