Cinnamon Cashew Flapjacks

After all the fancy pants flavours I’ve been coming up with recently I thought it was about time I did something nice and simple for this week’s #FlapjackFriday recipe. Say hello to Cinnamon Cashew Flapjacks.

Simple, but tasty… no more words needed.

What’s In Cinnamon Cashew Flapjacks?

  • 400g Oats
  • 200g Unsalted Butter
  • 200ml Honey
  • 200g Organic Cashew Nuts
  • 4tsps Cinnamon

How Do I Make Cinnamon Cashew Flapjacks?

Put the butter and honey in a saucepan and heat until melted.

Roughly chop the cashew nuts, then place them in a bowl with the cinnamon and shake until coated.

Stir the cinnamon cashew nuts into the melted butter, and then add the oats and stir until everything is well combined.

Spoon the mixture into the squares of a greased individual brownie tin (you should get about 12) and pat down with the back of a spoon to compact.

Bake in a moderate oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is a lovely golden colour.

Leave to cool completely in the tin before removing and devouring!
