Have a Happy and Safe Halloween.

Today is Halloween and millions of children around the world are looking forward to getting dressed up and going out trick or treating tonight. The four of us are dressing up as a family of skeletons and this year more than ever we are taking conscious measures to ensure our costumes are safe.

Costumes should always be marked with a CE label to ensure they meet with current fire and safety regulations. Try to avoid loose, flimsy materials and most importantly make sure the costume fits properly, with nothing dragging on the floor. Lit candles inside pumpkins are a huge hazard and ideally they should be replaced with battery operated tea lights, which can look just as effective. For more information about current Government regulations on children’s costumes and ways to ensure you have the happiest and safest Halloween you possibly can read this fantastic article ‘How to have a Happy Halloween?’.

We’d love to see all your photos from Halloween so please send them to us either on our Facebook page or email us at info@artofhealthyliving.com
