Art of Healthy Living Advent Calendar – Day 4

Hooray it’s Sunday! Which means hopefully you’ve had a lovely long lie in and now you’re ready for breakfast. But we don’t want you to just grab a boring old bowl of cereal from the kitchen and we certainly don’t want you spending ages cooking up a dirty big fry up.


Day 4 of our advent calendar insists that you must go out for breakfast today…so go on treat yourself.

What will it be?

  • Pancakes?
  • Avocado toast?
  • Eggs?
  • Granola?

My personal fave is scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and avocado on top of a lovely crusty slice of toasted rye, but lets face it anything that you haven’t had to make yourself always tastes sooooo much better, right?!

Just remember to enjoy every single mouthful, to pay attention to the tastes, smells and textures of your food and this mindful attitude will help encourage a positive relationship with food, rather than one associated with feelings of guilt, indulgence and negativity.
